From generous donations of quilts, iPhones, and toiletries, to interior design expertise, the Accessible Housing team is thankful for the recent thoughtful gifts and talents for the future residents of Inclusio. The team appreciates the individuals and groups that have ‘rolled forward’ to help make the upcoming opening of Inclusio a success. Inclusio, Accessible Housing’s new 45-unit accessible and affordable home opens soon, and provides a safe home for Calgarians with limited mobility.
- Dayle Sheehan Interior Design is offering their talent by creating a beautiful Inclusio show suite for prospective residents to view when they tour the building. As an interior designer and wheelchair-user, Dayle used her experience with barrier-free design to create a show suite that is both stylish and accessible. Watch for pictures on our social media later this month as the suite is almost ready for viewing!
- Husky Energy Inc. donated 15 iPhones, and charging plugs and cords to future Inclusio residents. Centron Group of Companies also donated many iPhones for Inclusio residents. We are grateful for these donations, as this technology is critical for residents, as the new building has smart technology so individuals can independently and easily adjust their window coverings, doors, lighting and more!
- Humanity In Practice (H!P) coordinated the donation of, new quilts, blankets, towels and toiletries.
- Universal Access (Sean Crump) donated eight accessible seating Flames tickets for future Inclusio residents. Individuals that applied to live at Inclusio had the opportunity to have their name drawn to win tickets. Many thanks to Universal Access!
