From Our Board Chair and CEO: An Important Message

From Jeff Dyer, CEO, Accessible Housing

I recently submitted my resignation to the Board Chair. While I have a mix of emotions as I move into this next chapter of my career, as the CEO of the Boys and Girls Club of Calgary, I will be able to continue in the work that I am passionate about: serving our most vulnerable citizens. I am extremely proud of what the staff and board of Accessible Housing have accomplished in the last three and a half years, and hold dear the relationships I’ve built during my time here.

I want to give my deepest gratitude to all who have been so supportive of Accessible Housing and of me personally over the years: staff, board members, clients and, of course, our partners and funders. Without you, Accessible Housing would not be as strong and vibrant as it is. I’ve enjoyed the work at this transformational organization because of you, and have learned much from you in the process. I am honoured to have been the leader of this mighty organization during such a wonderful time and will watch with respect and admiration as it welcomes home individuals to Inclusio at the end of 2017, continues to open doors to homes that are safe and appropriate to individuals with mobility challenges, and advances the cause of inclusion and belonging in our city.
