Helping people with limited mobility since 1974.

It all began in the 1970’s with the Fourth Dimension group home, Calgary’s first shared living accommodation for 12 people with spinal cord injuries. It was believed that this building would allow people with disabilities to be seen in a new dimension, hence the “Fourth Dimension” name. That dream has since grown.

Our Vision

A barrier-free society

We believe that although we can’t always change our circumstances, we do not have to be defined by them. We believe that everyone, despite of their limitations, have the right to live in a safe home and be part of a supportive community.

Our Mission

We open doors for people to live in community with dignity through supportive living services

Our Values

Compassion: We see the potential in others and support their journey of living a full and dignified life. We respond to the needs of others with understanding, patience, and kindness. We treat each other with respect, fairness and care.

Community: We are builders of community and recognized leaders in accessible living. By sharing ideas and working collaboratively together, across boundaries, we help create places of belonging that enrich people’s lives.

Integrity: We strive to do good things, for the right reasons, in the best ways. We build trust through our authentic behaviours and interactions.

Empowerment: We are committed to the well-being and success of our clients and our people. We deliver the best possible outcomes for our clients and community because we work hard, learn from each other, and innovate.

Excellence: We are achievers with exceptional operation execution, a keen desire for continuous improvement, and demonstrated adaptability. We are accountable to ourselves, our organization and our varied stakeholders and maintain professionalism throughout our work.
